Dr. Jay L. Lombard, D.O.
Dr. Jay Lombard is an internationally recognized neurologist, researcher, and innovator in brain health who brings more than 30 years of clinical and academic leadership to Medray Laser and Technology. As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Lombard guides the company’s clinical strategy with a focus on advancing laser and shockwave therapies for neurological and musculoskeletal conditions—particularly peripheral neuropathy.
A pioneer in integrative neuroscience, Dr. Lombard has dedicated his career to treating complex neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders, including ALS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and mood-related conditions. His clinical approach blends traditional neurology with emerging modalities such as neuromodulation, biomarker-driven therapies, and nutritional interventions.
Before joining Medray, Dr. Lombard served as Chief of Neurology at Westchester Square Medical Center and Bronx Lebanon Hospital. He also held academic positions at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, mentoring the next generation of physicians and neurologists.
Dr. Lombard is the co-founder and former Chief Scientific Officer of Genomind, a biotechnology company known for its groundbreaking work in genetic testing for psychiatric medication response. His leadership in personalized medicine has shaped the future of mental health care through innovation in pharmacogenomics.
He is also the author of The Mind of God, a compelling exploration of the intersection between neuroscience and spirituality.
